Easter Egger club!

our 12 babies from last weekend hatch - the 2 patterend ones & 2 of the white ones are EEs . the other 5 light ones are Chantecler & the 3 darker ones are Iowa Blue chicks:

Seeing all these chicks make me want some right now! In 21 days, I will be setting around 10-15 eggs in the incubator and they should hatch March 13th. I will also be getting 15 chicks from Cackle hatchery on March 13th and I can't wait!
 
I wonder what would happen if you bred an actual Americauna rooster with an Easter Egger? Instead of it being half Americauna with would then be 3/4's. I wonder if would make in recognizable or egg color difference?
 

My crazy EE, Loca, decided to burrow into a bale of hay today to lay an egg. She was in there for hours. It was a rainy day, so she seemed to be enjoying herself in there. When I came back later a flake of hay had fallen off and she was almost completely covered in hay. Too bad that pic didn't turn out.
