That's cool. Three of my easter eggers are Ameraucana x Marans mixes and they look JUST like a true blue Ameraucana. But, I know they are not because they are heavier than one and they lay nice green eggs. It's crazy how alike they can look though.

That black and gold is gorgeous. Any thoughts of trying to breed that one? Perhaps with an SLW Roo?

I really, really hope the black and gold lays blue eggs so I can work her into my Polish Easter Egger project. I plan on creating a fully crested blue egg laying chicken. It'll take a few generations, but it will be worth it. Anyway, my Polish crested chickens are gold laced, so she would be a perfect fit for the program.

Oh, sorry, I already new she was an EE hen, I just forgot to say so. When I said full bread, I ment she was 100% Americauna.

You mean 100% Easter Egger. No breed called Americauna. There is a breed called Ameraucana, but your girl is not one.

I see, I guess the lady who gave my Easter Egger to me was misguided as well. also my spelling was just a typo, never thought that was a seperate breed
