) i would take your guy in a heartbeat! he would make a good olive Egger for my Black CMs, but we already have a EE roo so theres no need just my chicken dreams lol

These are my three EE hens,
I have one full bread Americauna, and two Americauna Cochins.

Their names;
Griffina
Salt
Peppper

The hen on the far left is my full bread

These are my Americauna Cochins

Sadly D&B Supply also sold me "Auracanas" and "Americanas" when they were really Easter Eggers. They also sold us two roos when they were to be pullets. So, our first set we ended up with an EE who lays pink eggs and has no tail (see picture). She is stunning and a bit goofy. Her feathers are so dark that you cant see her eyes so I've nicknames our beloved Anne Bolyn, Miss Maggoo. LOL

These were our first chickens and I've learned my lesson: buy from a reputable company/hatchery NOT the local farm supply store. :(

@ProfNancy that's how I learned about the real Ameraucana breed too. I started with olive eggers (a type of easter egger). After a bit of research I learned that Amer-i-cauna is not a breed at all, but a deliberate misspelling of Ameraucana, which is a breed.

Here are two of my typical (although gorgeous) red/gold color easter eggers that I got from a hatchery.

And the black with gold easter egger that I got from the same source as the two above.

Here is my Wheaten Ameraucana that I got from a reputable breeder.

and my Black Ameraucana that I also got from a reputable breeder.
