Easter Egger club!

we went to buy some supplies at the feed store and of course I couldn't say no. Better yet either could my husband. He told me to stop 4 chicks ago. To cute! I'm curios on what color the darker pullet will be. Only time will tell. Puffy the lighter colored pullet is very similar to a few we bought awhile ago.i love how they sleep while standing.of course the pullets were labeled Ameraucana

how come The legs are not green? To young?
EEs change color dramatically. I had some dark brown ones that turned out to be black and white. The leg color also changes and not all EEs have green legs. They can be green/blue/black and slate.

Thank you thank you so much for answering. I feel like your's is the first real answer I have gotten. I am so sad. I can't have him hurting my boys.
We have a EE Rooster that is great around the kids and us. Sounds like your Roo is jealous. Either way he needs to go. I have some RIR growers, that being said I was warned about viscous Roosters!! I'm new to Roosters as well. Sassy is so sweet I never thought twice. If he did try to hurt me I would cull him. I have little kids as well just not worth it. They are nice to have when you want your pullets/ growers safe. Sorry, and good luck. You could try craigslist .

Thank you. Yes I wanted because my chickens free range, and we have hawks. Plus I would like to hatch my own chicks. And I think it is fun to watch the roos take care of their girls. But I just can't have a mean roo. :(

I had a My first cockerel takin by a hock. He was so sweet! He would sleep on us and lay in our laps. I had no idea Sassy was a cockerel intel sweet pea was gone. Not sure who but on one of the threads they said no RIR roosters or leghorn. That they are no joke! I think mines aggressive today because I'm introducing my two growers and or a predator ?

Really? I have a rock. She's a wild one. Do u have any pictures? The darker one us a reddish color. I was wondering about the legs because none of our EEs have the same color legs. I see pictures on this thread where it is very evident how green the legs are. That's how I got tricked from feed store the first time:)

This is my Omaha. She's a bit sassy compared to my previous EE's. The rest were scary cats but she's pretty bold.

This is white face. I ha no idea on gender at this point but I'm secretly hoping for a little roo so I can get rid of my aggressive BCM boy. I just love the sound of a crow. Their coloring is very similar to my first rooster but also one of my early EE ladies, eagle.
