Easter Egger club!

I have 5 EEs, of the 6 breeds I have they are some of the most personable ones, and its awesome to be able to tell them apart!!! I put some pictures of them aging because I know some people like to see what chicks turn out to look like as they grow.

I think the first ancestors of these breeds were bred by south american indians, then later they were used to create the araucauna and from that breed the ameraucauna. I think easter eggers were the "missing link" between the araucauna and ameraucauna. The araucanas were crossed with other breeds, creating easter eggers and from those easter eggers the ameraucaunas.

FREE 2 MONTHS OLD EE CHICK (that's a roo) Do you live in Southern Oregon and want a cute roo baby free? get a hold of me i live in Talent.
Are you sure it's a roo the comb doesn't have any color or isn't pronounced at all. My little 5 week old roo is very orangey in the comb

If I was a little closer I would love that little one. But I am up in the tri-cities. My chicks are all 7 weeks old right now so they would be close in age.

Thank you! Ameraucanas and Araucanas existed before there were recognized breed standards in 1979.

I'm not going to get into a debate with you RoosterLew. Believe what you want to believe.

Here's an updated picture..... i'm pretty sure it's a boy. It looks like it's comb is getting 3 rows, and it's tail is long and curved ...it just hasn't crowed yet :)
Coloring looks like a boy, Comb could go either way at this point. Some of them mature more quickly than others - makes it hard to know what's what! If he/she hasn't crowed yet you might want to hang on a bit longer to see if you have a pullet or not. (Mine crowed at 5 weeks so there was no guessing going on after that).
