was concerned bc her comb is brightervthan my other ee. Hoping so...my one confirmed rir roo hasnt crowed yet at 15 weeks, so im not sure how long to wait. I understand that is unusual? He just makes the same sounds as the hens.

Hey guys. I have two Easter Eggers. A hen and a rooster. I used to have another hen, but I stupid raccoon got her. Just came on here to see and share some pics about our beautiful birds!!

My cockerel was a late crower. 16 or 17 weeks. He started to attempt to crow right at 15 weeks

Still waiting...so far my EE pullet, Alfreda is bossing him around and he's submitting. He doesn't seem to stand up for himself and absolutely no crowing, so maybe he's waiting to make himself heard? lol
