She has no noticeable hackle feathers that I can see.

. Jessy has round saddle feathers unlike the gold bird Mr. Gold. He has pointed saddle feathers.

Good The way she was standing in the pic and the pointy tail feathers had me thinking cockerel. Coloring is pullet coloring, but I currently have a cockerel that has pullet coloring as well as a black and white hen. EEs are notorious for being confusing.

My sweet EE, Opal, is 7 weeks and started getting her beard feathers this week. So far, she is the biggest of my 5 other breeds and the boss hen. Very sweet to me!
