Luckily we're out in a rural area, so that shouldn't be an issue. I have no plans on giving him up. He's my baby. The nice thing is if anything happens my sister raises chickens and mine would always have a plaace to go in case of emergency. He looks very sweet, and like he'll turn out to be a handsome young man. I'm jealous ! I ended up with two beautiful blue layers and 1 white. I'm very pleased, however your egg is wonderful. Maybe next batch.
I had one like that as a chick she looks like this now.
This question may sound stupid, but I have five EE hens and i am only getting one green egg a day, if that. At one point I had four or five a day. Can their egg color change to brown or are they just terrible layers?
