Easter Egger club!

Thank you. I sure do love them. They are the sweetest. If you lay down on a blanket in the coop they climb all over you! I have one wyandotte chick in there with them. She is a boss pants but she can't be bossy to my Serama chicken she is the boss of them all. Which won't last for long. Hahaha!

Finally got my EE chicks!!! I am so excited so far they are pretty nice. They are probably around two or three weeks now. They had just turned a week when I got them. I have some Olive Egger chicks also. So all pretty colors. Hahaha! :weee :yiipchick :yesss:

Wonderful! Yours are about the same age as mine, and they are especially friendly. Where did you get yours?

From my Grandma. She has such a beautiful rooster. I will post a pic later of the dad and his two babies maybe. I can only do one that is on Facebook since she doesn't live close. LOL

I just got my first ever EE chicks! I picked up 3 the other day, 6 days old. Cute little things! I just got chickens last year, 6 Tetra Tints. As everyone who has chickens knows, they are addicting!!! One of my hens went broody a while back so I finally broke down and got her some babies. Mama hen is so happy now. I am so excited to see what they look like when they grow up!

Well we are excited to see what they look like now! Can you get photos, or is your broody hen too protective?

Here are some pictures!

My Broody is soooo sweet. We can sit with her on the ground and the babies hop all over my kids. She is never mean to us! My 90 pound dog however, he better look out!!! Unfortunately, my 6 year old daughter accidentally stepped on one of our EE chicks this morning, she is the one on the right in the first picture. She seems to be getting better throughout the day. No broken bones but I am worried about her organs, etc... She is eating and drinking but she is a bit sluggish and sleepy. Fingers crossed that she does OK!

they look so cute. I hope the little one gets better. Good luck with them! and welcome to EE's. They are quite fun.

The little one seems fine! She is hopping and running around, cleaning herself, eating and drinking and keeping up with her sisters. I think she is good to go, I think she just needed some time. I am soooo relieved. So is my daughter, poor thing, she felt so bad.
