Well that was Uma's first time going broody. We haven't had any more going broody on us but we just started raising chickens. My mom has had a lot of hens go broody on her for sure. She had a lot when she was a kid. It's a nice way to hatch them is to let a hen hatch them the natural way. We were going on vacation when her eggs would have hatched so we decided not to hatch anything but we were considering it. Because we wanted some Serama chicks because they are all small and dainty and I have never held or seen a serama chick when it was still a really small fluffy baby.
