Sounds like a punk rock/reggae band name. Lol. They are just so cute though

Hi Everyone!! I'm brand new to the "club"! My chicks are just one week old, but I'm LOOOVING THIS.

Henny Penny--my lovey sweet heart. She's the smallest.

Daisy-she's a bossy girl, she will probably rule the roost ;)

Darling Octavia-The darkest chick of the bunch, sweet as a pea.

Penelope-our drama queen. We call her our little "singer" because she's much more vocal.

Molly-our little fluff ball :) She's the biggest but doesn't have a car in the world.

These girls are just 5 days old today. I'm really enjoying having them!

My free range girls are hiding their eggs in hard to find places this pick I had to reach for

My little EE girl is hiding in the garage of all places and yes I put the towel in to keep the eggs safe

Ya just never know what them ladys are going to do next it seems I can build all the nesting boxes and the free range chickens will always find their own place to build a nest ...

Hahaha That's a huge nest of beautiful eggs! I hope you test them before tossing any. My best layer quit for a week or two, until I discovered she had just been laying under a bush in my front yard. I pulled 8 green eggs from under the bush and they were all still fresh! I cut the branches away so she didn't have privacy there anymore and she went back to laying in the box! I have a bantam Cochin I swear must be laying under my coop. She's 40 some weeks old and hasn't laid yet. I search under there periodically and nothing! She spends time under there because she's shy, but I'm hoping she's just a lazy moocher and when she does lay it's in the box!
