MY AVATAR (PULLET) HAD A VERY PALE COMB AT 5-MO-OLD. A COCKEREL'S COMB WILL BE CONSIDERABLY DARKER AT THE SAME AGE. I'M NO EXPERT BY ANY MEANS BUT ONE OF YOUR BIRDS HAS A MUCH DEEPER COLOR COMB THAN THE OTHER. THE PULLET COMBS STAY PALE ALMOST WHITISH PINK AND JUST BEFORE LAYING THEIR COMB DARKENS ALMOST TO DARK ROSY COLOR.
This is my Easter Egged chick Fluffy. I'm pretty sure he's a roo but it would be great to get some confirmation before we give him away. Him and his sisters Toodles(the other EE) and Saf(Norwegian jaerhon) are 7 weeks old.![]()
