Easter Egger club!

we got this ee 3 weeks ago her name is honey hence the color
beautiful!! We have one hen that was given to us because she was being picked on she's all redish orange my 3 year old named her Elmo! She's the sweetest Muppet looking thing and a few days after we got her she laid a very light blue egg and has laid plenty more since. Have no idea what she is she looks nothing like everyone else's ee's but we love her and can't wait to get more true ee's then I'll have to actually join this forum! Lol

no such thing as a true ee. An EE is any bird that came from a blue or green egg layer that doesn't breed true at least 50% of the time and/or doesn't meet a breed or color atandard

oh OK! I'm still learning! Everything we've seen on here pic wise looks nothing like her they all have to different colored feathers! We have no idea what color her parents were or the color of her egg when she hatched just that sweet little Elmo puts out a blue egg that my 3 year old thinks is the neatest thing ever!!! Lol So technically we have an ee!! Yaaayy! Can I join now!?!

Hi all - I'm new to keeping chickens, but I am in love with my two EEs. They are little fraidy cats and at the very bottom of the pecking order and I've always been a sucker for the underdog. Not great photos, but it's the best I have

well a majority of EEs have ameraucana in them yours might not

Wow, you all have some very pretty EEs!! Here are my newest three. The other 2 pairs are Welsummers and RIRs. The hatchery sent an extra EE, which makes me think one might be a male, but I'm a little excited at that thought. Roos are so pretty and I already have 3 other EEs that I would finally get to have my own EE chicks from.
