Thanks for the congrats y'all, she didn't lay one yesterday, but then my PR took a day off too. As for your suspected bird, 'she' doesn't look like a 'roo; I don't see any hackles on her neck (thanks for the large picture BTW, makes it easy to see) and there is no discernible curl in the tail feathers. Nor are there any wattles and the comb doesn't look very red either. How old is she?

I have an EE chick in the brooder bin that is feathering out a lot like her. I hope mine comes out as nice looking, and such a nice beard.

Yes, I'm sure she is a hen, she laid me a blue egg! She is 5 months old. Thanks!

Did I tell you that my Sassy laid her first egg?? She was making all sorts of noise every time Wormy or Lady Gray acted like they'd lay an egg, and she finally had her own!!! Oh, and Wormy gives us an egg just about every day now.
