Hope everyone is well! I think I have an undercover EE. Should only have two of laying age but I'm getting 3 green eggs a day and a blueish one once in awhile. And I think I only got 2 roos out of my 7 chicks!!

Here's my beautiful boy Emmet. He is 4 months old, so far not aggressive with humans and the only cockerel out of 6 chicks.

No crowing yet, not complaining about it though.

Thank you ☺ I realize he probably won't crow until the girls start to lay. Some crow earlier from what I've read. I am hoping he will be a man of few words lol.

Speaking of hens, their combs and wattles are reddening up. No squatting yet, they're 15/16 weeks.

I heard what sounded like a kid playing with a kazoo when I opened the back door this morning to go feed and open the coop door. My chickens voices are changing lol.

However this particular kazoo went cock-a-doodle-doo! Yup, a real crow in his teenager voice! I'm probably crazy, but I am so excited

Loving my little Easter Eggers. I have a Rooster Heinlein and a Hen Leia who both run to door of coop. LOL mostly to get to fresh grass when door opens but they let me pick up and pet without too big a fuss. Turns out one I thought was a hen is actually a very late blooming rooster. Named it Lessa but guess I'll change it over to Asimov. Bummed as I don't need 4 Easter Egger Roosters for 4 Hens. I'll try and get better Pictures.
