Easter Egger help!!

Hi!! I’ve had Golden Comets for a couple years to see if I wanted to invest in other breeds and of course I did!!
I am so clueless! I can’t seem to wrap my head around hybrid and cross breeding!
I have some Easter Eggers in my incubator. All the eggs are brown, and I was told the hens I hatch will lay colored eggs.
So, my question is…if I keep a roo and all the hens, I will end up with generations…will they be Easter Eggers or do I need rooster of the blue laying breed?

The reason the Easter Eggers are called that is because they can lay any color from white to dark brown to blue and every color in between. Ideally you want as many colors as possible to keep a good looking egg basket.
It doesn't matter how many generations it spans, just as long as you get a good variety of colors including the blues and greens.
