The top one is a cockerel, I'm not sure about the second one, can you get a better photo?

Definetly a roo. Females don't come in that color.(correct me if I'm wrong)

That is a lot of comb. Likely a cockerel. Part the feathers on the back/shoulder area. There is likely some deep, dark red feathers coming in. We just can't see them yet in the photos.

That's a good question.  The females typically have an even pattern over the wings, but does that mean no females can have a columbian type color?  Seems we've had some examples of columbian type pullets, but I'm not sure.  Anyone?

Does any one know about the time they start cock a doodling, or laying eggs
