Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Has anyone ever had an EE with a reddish comb at 7 weeks turn out to be a pullet? It looks like a pullet except for the comb has been reddish for awhile. I would hate to rehome it if it isnt a rooster. I know my slw turned red quickly but ended up being a hen. Will try to get updated pics but its hard because of where they are housed right now. These pics are probably 2 weeks old.

I always think of her as my "Frankenstein Bird" because she looks like she was pieced together from 4 different birds.

. I think she's beautiful! Look at those fluffy cheeks and lux beard!
Yeah she loves it when I comb it too, it is hilarious watching her go into a trance after a few strokes. I am not sure about beautiful but she is interesting looking. Her name is Easter (original naming by my fully grown daughter

) but I should have called ehr camo. She lays a very striking army green egg.

Yes there are! Look at the hackle feathers that are hanging out from his tail. They are pointed.
The patterning does make it hard to tell but I'm pretty sure the feathers are pointy.
Nope, edge of the feather is rounded and the feathers are too broad. Not at all like the long, slim saddle feathers of a cockerel.
