I think by the tailfeathers it looks like 3 boys 1 girl, the boys generally have 'skinnier' tails, the girls fluff out, most of the time in two little sections kind of like an upside down "v" the boys might to but its so much more narrow, comparable to the same aged females its obvious at over a month. the coloring suggests the same thing. the red shoulders with the narrow tail, gonna be a pretty roo.

I have one with similar markings, only a little older than that one. His name is spike, he was a pretty yellow chick with black stripes and a blac v going down to his beak, my sister bought him for our flock. we have a white pullet EE as well, she is almost blue silver, Phoebe, witchy little bird, and a golden blue pullet, Celia, she prefers to be by herself. They all have their own personalities. Spike is very social and quite 'cocky'.

I cant see the feathers good enough, on second inspection I am wondering if it isn't half and half, the lighter colored one I'm thinking female, watch the feathers and the stance, they are old enough to make a good guess.

Ok I have an EE I got as a 3 day old chick. From day one it looked diffrent than the others. I bought it with 10 other babies. Ameraucanan is supposed breed. As a chick it had the color of a duckling. We call it Duckie. The other chickens it's age have gotten thier feathers in first. This lil one is taking it's time. I also ended up with 2 other chickens. Golden comets. Both are suppose to be hens. I'm thinking the dark one is a roo. What do you thing
The question is:
What breed and sex is Duckie?
What sex is Levy?

Duckie is the striped on one the log.

Duckie today at 8 weeks old. And just now getting a tail.
I'm guessing male because of the red on his wings.

Thanks I knew the one in the back was a roo he crows. Red is his name. Bad luck for me out of 32 chickens I have 20 males I think. The BCM's are harder for me to tell So I'm waiting on them to show pointy feathers

All these are roos except the big girl in the back. Georgette an EE who thinks she is the boss. But lays large brown eggs. Not my favorite chicken.

OMG that's a lot of boys! So sorry! If it makes you feel any better, I got 4 silkies this spring. I wanted some good brooders. I am sure 3 of them are boys and I think the 4th is, too.

OK. so I am super confused, because folks on the forum have told me that my flock is made up of easter eggers and they are way off the colors of yours!
I know the black ones are not easter eggers, but have been told the reds, brown and grey one.....are all easter eggers. How many colors do they come in?
