Omega is so handsome!
Camo's looking cool! Did any of the others turn out to be cockerels?
I've been reading/following this thread for a little while now. Since I'm new at owning chickens, and EE's (although I was told they are americaunas), this thread has been extremely helpful and entertaining. I bought six chickens from a chicken swap two and a half weeks ago. I was told the chicks were 10 days old. Two of them are EE's straight run (the rest were sexed and from a hatchery, dominiques and wyandottes). I think they must be around 27 days old now and probably too early to tell but I took some pics today and thought I'd post them. I'd like to post pics as time goes by from here so others can see what they turned out to be...that's been the most fun for me to see here. My guess is one pullet and one roo. Here they are:
Rainbow Dash - possible roo?
Rainbow Dash #2
Rainbow Dash #3
Muffy - Possible Pullet
Muffy #2

Quote: thank you both
Haha - I didn't think anyone would notice! I have a 7 year old daughter and she named him/her. Rainbow Dash is her favorite out of the ponies and of our 5 chicks. So, I'm hoping Rainbow Dash turns out to be a pullet!!rainbow dash!!! lol My little ponys... I never thought of that for names. I have 7 girls without names... Rainbow dash, Twilight sparkle, Flutter shy, Vera, Apple jack, Pinky Pie, princess Celestial, and nightmare moon... I have names... THANKS...lol
They look like mine at 12 weeks old. That's why I was asking. If they are boys, they should most definitely have rooster feathers at 18 weeks old. They were sure about age, which they said was 16 weeks. I've had them about two weeks. They are little, aren't they?
