Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

No need for apology. You are NOT dense. You, too, will be an expert after hatching and raising a few flocks of EEs. Also, going back and reading the previous 600+ pages will definitely help, too.
Thanks....that's where my confusion has come from - I have read all the posts...been following this thread since I got on BYC and this is as smart as I've gotten!

Oh, well, if I can't be smart I'll at least be adorable!

These guys are 7-9 weeks old I believe. Got them as hatchery sexed pullets from a farm store, but you know how that goes... Just wanted to double check. I am questions number 2 since its silver and that is usually a male color, and chick one is kind of patchy, so i wasn't sure on it either. They all have a single row of pea comb, and no wattles.
Chick #1

Chick #2

Chick #3

Chick #4

Chick #5

Chick #6- Wouldn't stand still, but colored like a partridge rock pullet.

Thanks for the help.

I have a couple of cockerels sold as EEs that are really neat looking I think, but one is black and white and has no red on him anywhere. I've never gone by the coloring, other than hens are plain looking...lol. I'll post pictures of them here in just a bit. They are both very obviously male due to their combs, but the coloring thing doesn't work with the one

also patchy white on the breast is an indication of a boy.

here's an example.

they all look like pullets, other than #2, can you get a clear picture of its comb?

Heres a comb shot, i didnt realize how big his comb got, so im pretty sure this is a roo now. But here it is:

Hopefully he will be big and pretty and fit right in with my 14 week old polish roo, should be no problem with 20 hens.

I have 3, three months old Ee. One is clearly a roo with patchy red and saddle feathers slowly coming in. The blue one and orangy one are still a mystery.
