What do you think of my 10 week old EEs "pullets"?
Thinking this one is a roo. (Yes, my dd is climbing out of the pop door.)![]()
Sorry for the blurry picture. I thought this one was a pullet, but not sure about the saddle feathers?
I can try to get better pictures tomorrow. They are in with the big girls now, and they are kinda nervous.

Any ideas about what gender this Easter Egger could be?

Thanks in advance!
Can any one sex these two Americans for me? they are about 10 weeks old. I also have 4 that are only a few days old, and I would love to know the tips & tricks. this thread is so long I can't go back to the first page to see what every one said! Thanks in advance!
Very cute, but too young to sex. Post again in a week and we'll see.
Those are both pullets. No doubt. See how the color pattern is small and evenly spread across the body? At 10 weeks, that's always a pullet. If they were cockerels, you would see dark red spots of color develop on the wings at about 5-6 weeks of age. (This doesn't apply to solid colored and some silver/blk & wht birds.) About the same time, the males' combs will get wider, often with 3 distinct rows of bumps (peas) running the length of the comb. Usually by 6-7 weeks the males' combs start turning bright pink, but of course rates of development will vary.
