Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Can you help me?

I have four chickens that we got at not quite a week old. Supposed to be all factory-sexed females. However, I have a friend online who thought one looked rooish, and then I read in this thread that black and white was usually male - so I'm freaking out. I'm in the city and can't have roos. They are about 5 weeks old now:

This is Ginger, the one mostly in question. S/he was the only one without the chipmunk stripe when we brought her home. I tried to get a pic of her comb as well, which appears to be the same as two of the others.

This is Basil. I had no doubts about her being a pullet until I was reading in here that black and white was usually a roo. His/her comb is also different than the others.

Paprika. Pretty sure she is a pullet as she is the traditional colors.

Curry. She is my wild thing but is basically a lighter version of Paprika, so I'm thinking pullet also.

TIA!

That is a relief. I'm not sure what penciling is, but I'm happy she is a girl. I really hope Ginger is a girl too - I don't want to have to turn her into soup!

Oh, and since Basil doesn't have the same comb as the other three, does she not have a pea comb? Or is she the only one with a pea comb? Paprika and Curry's look like Gingers. I'm not sure exactly what a pea comb should look like...

I am pretty sure that Ginger is a slow developing roo just from the splotchiness of the red color on the wings. The others are pullets, and to me it looks like Basil just has an altered pea comb (probably from being crossed with a single comb) that will stick up a little more when she's grown. Hard to see right now though, so give her comb a few more weeks and we'll see

Oh poor Ginger. I will have to turn her into soup if she is a him. I cannot have a roo in the city. How long until I will know for sure? They are 5 weeks now.
