My roo was beautiful, but he was so darn aggressive towards the others that we had to find him a new home. Now he has new adult hens that will hopefully put him in his place while he still has time to learn (he's only 2 months old). It was sad to see him go, but it's for the best.I got 6 straight run ees this year and 4 are boys. I don't care I'm keeping 2 of them. Lol. I'm a sucker for pretty roosters

Mine was sparring with the other cockerel when they were a week old. They have been fighting ever since. I told DH that they could both stay until one did something to tick me off. I was honestly hoping the EE would be the one we kept. However, last weekend he tried to kill the other cockerel. We separated them, but everytime they go out to free range the EE would hunt the other one down and attack him. In addition he would bite the pullets. He also started crowing at 5 weeks, so I think he has a little to much hormones running around his teenage body. LOLI'm sorry...probably for the best though. An aggressive roo doesn't make anyone happy..![]()
My EE roo was just starting to get testy when he left, about the same age.

How old are they? Aside from the red combs nothing screams male. They will pick if they don't have enough room, is that the cage they live in??? If so it's WAY too small.
