Updated pic of my EE. Roo? Pullet? She/he is about 10 weeks old.

My Jersey giant has already started crowing and is only about a week older than this one and this guy is just sooo docile and nice. He sits with me and lets me pet him and is just great. I was hoping it was a rooster when I picked him out. I hope he keeps his great temperament.

It didn't look roo to me then, and still does not look roo to me now. The light brown/red tint at the end of the wing tip does not indicate roo. It was already there at 4 weeks and hasn't changed. Overall pattern is that of a pullet. Comb is not big or red for a 10 wk old. I'd say you got yourself a pretty girl.

Okay, my broody hatched out a few eggs almost 4 weeks ago, three of which are EE's. I know they are still young, but was hoping for a few "opinions" as to whether they are pullets or cockerels.
Ist chick, Daisy, feather pattern looks girl to me, comb looking roo.

2nd chick, Cupcake, is all grey. I'm leaning more pullet, but not sure.

3rd chick, Pancake, looks very similar to Cupcake but is turning more black than grey, and comb is a little more prominent.

So, any guesses? Or just wait a few more weeks......It is so hard to be patient! I really want Daisy to be a pullet, but I'm thinking the comb is pretty wide and pink for just short of four weeks. I think Cupcake is a girl, and Pancake I'm just not sure. Thanks!

So this is Peach (brown) and Buttercup (white). They are about 4-5 weeks old. I am starting to think Buttercup is not a Buttercup at all, I can see 3 new rows coming up on his/her comb....what do you all think? I am hoping Peach is a girl, she is my daughters and she will be so sad :(
Peach is 100% pullet. That's pullet coloring. Buttercup, OTOH, is a watch and wait. I suspect cockerel but it's too early to be sure.

Daisy's a pullet. Need to wait for comb development or red shoulders (or not!) on the others.

If only they could all be pullets! I would never get that lucky though. The third one, Pancake, likes to challenge and chest bump with our little OE that we are sure is a roo. If I get two out of the three of these guys as pullets, I will be super happy. She hatched out seven chicks (3 EE, 2 OE, and 2 BLRW), out of those I have one for sure roo, one pretty sure pullet, and the rest I guess we will have to wait and see.

Just so you know pancake and cupcake are both blue. They might be true ameraucana.
