To the comb question, yes. You'll get colored eggs again in the offspring.


To the chick color question - Pure white, no other colors, can mean either boy or girl but is more likely a girl. If it develops red in the breast, it is a girl. If it develops black in the neck and tail, and/or especially develops yellow or red in the wings, it's a boy.

Yep, pushiness means nothing on gender at such a young age. In fact friendliness at least over here is often an indicator of boy.

OH NO!!! Both my BR are like puppies! I'd hate to give either one back-we're in total love with those two. My 2 BO's are rather friendly, but both the EE's are rather pushy and Lucy is downright psychotic jumpy.

Same with my experience. My boys are very friendly, even at 10 weeks old. My EE boy was always the first to come check me out when I entered the room.

You can have friendly girls too! Though out of this batch I only have one girl that is overly friendly.
