Are these two Easter Eggers? They have slate legs but don't have a beard. They are about 25 weeks and still don't have much of a comb or waddle. No eggs from them yet.

Easter Eggers. And they are still about a month or so from laying. In my experience, they need a feed with at least 18% protein content to be productive layers. Starting them on layer feed too soon can really slow down their development rate.

Definitely look like EE to me. Easter Eggers aren't a true breed (they're a cross breed for the production of colored eggs) and so they don't all look the same. Mine has no muffs and looks a lot like your girl on the right.

I have several Americauna and Easter eggers. Mine had muffs from the beginning. I think I know the breed, but will double check. Not we to me.

Pretty Easter egger pullets.

Yes, classically EE have beards and muffs, and that's one thing so many of us love about them. But, we've been seeing a lot of "clean faced" aka beardless birds on this board the last few years. Not sure how the hatcheries changed up their stock, but they're becoming pretty common. Good thing is, beards/muffs are not genetically linked to the colored egg gene, so you should still get a pretty, colorful egg basket.
