easter egger?

Not all EEs are bearded/muffed. Those that will be have some extra downy fullness on the face as chicks.

I've found the surprise of their emerging feathers and patterns to be exciting. Mine are 19 weeks now and still changing. I see pictures on here of other EEs that look a whole lot like them. It continues to amaze me that these "mutts" can end up looking so much alike.

OH, and my solid yellow EE chick now looks like this:

Whoops, he's not a pullet!

He is so pretty!!

Yea, its fun watching them change, especially this one, because she is totally unlike the other 4 we got! Im hoping she IS a she anyhow LOL Waiting to see who may end up being a roo, since I know its a good possibility!

I work at a feed store and we order all our baby chicks from ideal, we get about 10 white/blondes on every order of 50. I took a few home to see how they grow up and mature and I was amzed at how lovley they are. You can also tell by their grey/greenish legs as oppossed to more yellow/orange of other light colored chicks. Sometimes when my shipment comes in and ther are EE and orpingtons thats the only way to tell which is which, by their little legs;)

The one on the left, started out pure white.

The one here on the far left started out blonde like and Orpington.

Does the one on the left have some black too? And yea, my daughter kept calling her an orphington LOL But she definitely has green legs now! Its crazy how much she's changed already, because she was pretty white when she came.

Our little snowy white girl, is no longer snowy white! At almost 3 weeks, she's getting blond colored on the front and some black is showing up in various areas on her back and wings.
