Easter-to-Mother's Day hatch-along?

Well, I am a bit confused. I see some talking about pips already, and I thought this was for SETTING the eggs this weekend?

So, if we're SETTING eggs this weekend, I'm JUST a BIT early, as I just put in some chicken and turkey eggs in tonight, but the temps aren't up to where they need to be again, yet, after loading the bator up.

Anyway, I think, if I understand this correctly, I'm IN!
(Well, and turkey eggs the following week if my tom is doing is job.)

Found out from MPC that my eggs haven't shipped yet after all. They should ship today or tomorrow. I'm itching to get them set - my Hoover's chick order came in today, and chick fever is in full force!

Well, adding the day for them to set and rest, they may be hatching about the same time my potential turkeys hatch, from the same batch, LOL!

Besides, around here, this time of year, ANY day is a good day to set eggs, LOL! SOMEONE will also be setting eggs at the same time, I'm sure!

Can I get in on this action? I just set 29 Silkie eggs on Thursday, the 18th and I have at least seven more coming next week.

Day 3!

On 4/18 I set 26 eggs of a variety of breeds, from shipped and local sources:

Cream Legbar
55 Flowery
Tolbunt Polish
Salmon Faverolle
FBC and BBS Marans
Welsummer
Easter Egger
Olive Egger

I’m using an Incuview and so far have been really happy with it, as far as holding temp and humidity, although the rolling function seems weird and like the eggs need to be adjusted sometimes.

I’ve got about a dozen reserve eggs to swap in if anything doesn’t make it by Day 7.

Time to finish my chicken run expansion and mama hen brooder pad!
