Easter-to-Mother's Day hatch-along?

Mind if I join the hatch along? I know I’m a bit late, but my little bantam Hazel went broody last week, I put a few eggs under her last night. If all goes well, the chicks should be here around Mother’s Day!!

Argh. My local post office is AWFUL. According to the USPS tracking information, my eggs arrived at 8 am and are being held for pickup. The first worker at the desk told me they "don't do that". Her supervisor was much more helpful and searched for over 10 minutes but didn't find them. He said they must have gone out on the truck for delivery today, but they're not here yet...My mail carrier has a habit of scanning packages as "delivered" 24-48 hours before he actually drops them off, so who knows where my eggs are.

Oh my gosh, that's infuriating. I always call my post office first to tell them to expect a pick-up box, but even if I didn't, they wouldn't be that level of incompetent. I'm so sorry! I hope the eggs make it ok!

I will join in. But mine will hatch a little after Mother's Day as they are duck eggs. I set 7 Black East Indian Eggs on Easter Sunday. Super Excited as these will be the start to a new flock for me.

The supervisor I spoke to yesterday and today has been very sympathetic but doesn’t have an explanation. If my USPS package delivery patter holds, they’ll “miraculously” show up in another day or two. Or they may really be MIA forever.

I emailed MPC to find out what they want me to do next. Sigh.
