Funny! Don't even get me started on Nascar..... I personally would rather watch paint dry, ha

I'm definitely not a Nascar fan.

I have a huge problem with how people lost part of their farmland when the Beltway was built. I know it was all for Bristol Motor Speedway's benefit, Having a person's farm "condemned" so the county can take it via eminent domain to build a road, or put up a campground or whatever for just for race fans is wrong. The landowner did NOT get full value of the land.

The beautiful countryside where those cows used to graze is gone.

Dh is a race fan and I can't figure out why he would like such a thing.

Very nice of you to say. Wanna 3 year old Boston terrier with a back problem??? He's sweet as pie and loves to snuggle! Yes I have seen how close minded, i've cooked many items that our family loves, I make extra for my mom to take to work and yanno....i think only 1 person in the entire office will try anything different! I live in a very rural area, Mosheim to be exact! I swear when I was working in retail "in town" these elderly people would flash out a wad of cash to pay for ANYTHING no matter the expense. I asked one gentleman if he still burried his money in a coffee can under the back porch and he laughed and said yeah...for some reason i believe he was being truthfull! The education here where my kids go seems to be pretty good, i'm thankful for that. I don't drink shine, lets say i dont drink it on a regular basis LOL. That stuff puts hair on your chest and i certainly dont need another place to have to shave! I love sweet tea, and my sweetie too! I know "you" arent bad people, i've met a TON of fantastic people here, the vast majority are as a matter of fact. But as was said before, and as i've told employees in the past, no matter where you go or what you're doing, you're gonna have a jerk around! Please tell me where not to be after dark, cause i havent learned those ropes yet and my luck...i'll end up there!

>schnicker< now... the only way i could watch nascar is if at the midway point each car has to start driving the opposite direction! THEN i'd watch.

Tee Hee, sounds good, I like it! Mayb go in both directions, then they could crash, and it would b over in like 3 min

Wanted to share a few pictures of the babies i got today to keep "Sweetie" company. I did find several standard cochins, but was not prepared to bring them home in my husbands little car. Have I mentioned that I can not wait for my SUV to come home to me this week??? I picked up a 16 week barred cochin, a columbian cochin hen although her legs and feet arent feathered i've always loved them, and a mille fleur roo that my son picked out and paid a whopping buck for! The kid doesnt speak to people as he's so shy but he drives a hard bargin! He has named him "Little Elvis"!

Here is "Little Elvis" again with "Sweetie" perched on top of a cinder block. She likes getting inside the block for some reason.

exactly, as each car hits the mid way point, they have to do a quick "bat turn" and go the other way!

Great idea, I don't know why Nascar doesn't ask us about this.

I cook all the time!!! I've been in Newport after dark, was doing some training a few years ago when I was living here last to work as a "house mother" for Mentally disabled people. Tell me, can i get "pit beef" anywhere in this general area >Greeneville, Morristown, Knoxville<? Not pulled to shreds and drown in sauce...sliced beef brisket on a huge keiser roll??? LOL i go to all the little pit places roadside and its either pork or this pulled beef stuff. When my hubby comes for a visit next weekend, he better bring me some from the Annapolis area! Everything seperate i'll assemble it here!

Ohh and how would i "rehab" the lil man's back? UGGGG Bostons have 5 gallons of energy for each hour of the day and he's on anti inflamatories and pain meds but he still, when not going 9million mph, wabbles, crosses his rear legs and is not all together happy.
