Hey stanglover, you should try Greene farm and garden or feed or whatever its called in Oliver springs. They sell 22% (or 16%) for 11something still....nowhere near the price LC feeds has gone up to.....thats where I go for feed now.

I saw one of Terry Disney's birds.....and they had donated a dozen or 18 eggs to the silent auction (blue orp eggs)....that's all I saw.

Sure did enjoy putting more faces with the online names of my 'imaginary' friends. DH always has to admit that my imaginary friends are actually quite nice people. You know; even if we all ARE crazy chicken people!!

My daughter and I had a lot of fun at the show!! So glad Gavin told me about it, and it was great to meet him, and the few others I met!!

I ended up leaving with 11 new chickens. Really wanted an older non-black/blue silkie hen for my fav rooster. All we ended up finding was black. It worked out ok tho. DD picked one out, it is the friendliest cheicken we've ever had!! She is tottally in love with it!! <3 <3 Would have bought another 1 or 2 had I realized the sweet personalities. The silkies I have/had are pretty & amusing to watch, but are skiddish & won't come near us.

I also bought a huge buff/blue cochin mix. My 6yo son named it Rouge, lol. As soon he saw it he picked it up and was carrying it around the yard with him. The thing is half the size he is, he's so little. It was the cutest thing!!

I went to your pictures to show my daughter the one of your step daughter about to off the rooster and I can't find it! I'm trying to get her ready to help me one day. Am I just looking in the wrong place?

My husband and I are considering moving to Chattanooga and so I thought I'd come on here and ask the BYCers about the place! We're looking at purchasing land and it looks like if we sell our house here, we could afford a LOT of land there. And that it would be very nice land, unlike some of the other places we're considering. So tell me, what do you guys love and hate about Chattanooga? Every place has pros and cons and I want to hear about them from a local. Thanks!
