I think I need some professional help, is there a chickbuyers anonymous? I got 3 sizzles(black, splash and blue?) today and I still have to try to resist chick days at TSC. Need to be strong, must resist the cute!

tennesseeckn; I have one OE laying now. 1 of her eggs was crossed by a Del. Roo and hatched last run, so I am hoping it is a she and I get another OE. I just got 5 pure breed Ameraucana's in a straight run and am hopeful on pullets for those also. I also have 3 EE Pullet chicks that will be here by Wed. and will add some blues to my collection I hope. I am up to 19 Dels now (14 of which are chicks). I really need to stop, LOL. I did want to add a couple wels and maybe a leghorn for some[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] more color though. I need to attract egg customers to help pay for all the feed [/FONT]

I think I will bring the one year old 3 production reds and 2 GLW's to the show to sell....that will leave me with only 6 adults. After that show I will only hatch the dels and concentrate on breeding those.

I got you beat, I was at the Kingsport one at 8:30 when I went to pick up the sizzles and they said they hadn't arrived yet. Going by the other one after I pay some bills. I just need to ask them to ban me from all stores lol

I'm excited, I hear peeping coming from the incubator! I was almost thinking they weren't going to hatch! Let's see if both hatch and give a 100% hatch for my first hatch of the year!

I've noticed that this is the wrong place to seek help with impulse chicken buying. I think poultry owners in general tend to be enablers

I think I figured out why chicken people are such enablers. If everyone else buys up all the chickens then there is less temptation
