Welcome to our new friends. I have not had a chance to be online for a few days. Down with cold. Yesterdays rain was something. The one that hit friday morning was worse in wind. I am glad we are high and dry here. Hubby went to work yesterday. He drives for OD off exit 4. Lucky him got to go to TX out of the rain. It did not stop here till 530 I think. I spent most of the day in bed just went out to lock up coop.

Down at the coop ground is real wet. Saturday we went to Lowes and bought a Weeping Pussy Willow. Now I need a regular weeping willow for down at coop. The other is going out front since it only get 6 feet tall. So if anyone knows where they are selling the regular weeping willow trees let me know please.

Wish everyone a good safe healthy week.

I may be too far south but I am from Marion county. I live up on the plateau between Chattanooga and Nashville.

Cybercat....Hope your feeling better. My DF (Fiance) came down with it last week and I thought I squeeked by, but 4 days ago It hit me pretty bad too. I went through 2 days of fever and chills and then two days of just feeling like crap.
I went out today and got 6 chicks, made me feel much better, LOL

I have a corkscrew willows. They start super super easy if you want some to start. They are quick growers too. The limbs are contorted into corkscrews! I use to sell the dickens out of them when I had my greenhouse. They are not seen often. I live 1.2 miles from exit 4...in fact use to do billing for OD.

I could always meet your hubby with the cuttings..just PM and let me know if you would like some!

Hey...my mom is from Grundy Co..not too far from you. I use to drive there to see my G-pa every other weekend. Wish I could talk my husband into moving there...I love it here but there is just something special about that area.

WOW, those cork screw willows bring back memories. I remember my grandmother had them in Indiana around the little 5 acre pond out back. I bet you would be happy with those Cybercat, they are indeed a conversation piece and don't get nearly as big of a canopy if you want to keep a little sun back there also.

hello, Morristown TN. chicken/poultry, and general bird (along with a mini zoo of mostly rescue reptiles, and animals in general). great to find a thread with closer people. we have a live stock auction on buffalo trail/Cumberland ave every Saturday at six, and get there at five if selling, and first Monday of month flea markets (alot of cheal great breeds people auction and sell as they have no idea what have and sometime very valuable worth). sadly cannot even yet find diamond doves or "button" quail (wanting excuse to have help building aviary for some types to put with in besides my: zebra finches, budgies, and maybe tiels... lol).
