We r still getting things together, so unsure when we will be going before the city council (mayb in Sept/Oct), but we will be giving them your name and telling them that you agree to take the roos. Would u mind providing us with a statement saying u do agree. We need to be as prepared as possible when we go before them and we could give them your statemnt so they can verify if need be. Partridge is a color of the Plymouth Rocks. There are seven colors reconized for large breed, white, barred, partridge,sliver penciled, buff, columbian and blue. I am just working on the Partridge color of rocks. Since I free range that is all I will have for now.

Anytime you have a "game" you are closer to the true jungle fowl... kinda like having a wolf-hybrid... you are just closer to the wild, raw genetics - they make better mothers, better foragers, but also males are more territorial. There again... bantams, being smaller, are less likely to do real damage to each other if they do happen to get into it with each other. I got a Silver Duckwing OEGB roo named "Mister" who when he ranges (supervised) he goes straight to the standard Dels and tries to start something with "Big Boy" my main stud Delaware roo. lol. It's funny because Big Boy just looks at him like, "what?" LOL!!
Highly recommend the bantams... in any color you like. From white to blue to black to partridge to mottled to barred to one of my favorites.... red pyle.

lol ive seen mny times, especially dogs mating through crates etc, or just tearing them open to get in or out. were there is a will, ther is a way! oh by thw way, females by non prized genes will retain them for years, and have been know when bred by a mutt, to then throw out mutt pups when bred even to other prized dogs. seen this myself only with one Doberman female that only got barely poked after bred to several amle, then let out on short leash on way home at rest stop for second it took for mutt to jump her and immediately kicked off, and she threw out all mutts, for next two or three breedings, that i personally saw.. so possible i know. sorry, so probably why most sell or destroy a female when a mutt or other has got on her..
Went to bed with a peeping bator beside my bed and woke up to at least 2 big pips! YAYAYAYAYAY
