OH.....I have just hatched 16 BW quail. Now what do I do with them??? A friend of my husbands dropped the eggs by one day and I thought he wanted me to incubate them for him....found out they where a gift but I don't know what to do. I want to stay strictly with chickens.

Finally decided what breeds I am going to stay with for a while. So I have a few to get rid of / trade

I am sticking with Wyandottes and will probably start a Java breeding program in the spring. I am keeping the Cochins also just because they are just so dang cool little balls of feathers and may sit some eggs for me

If I can get Nella within 20 miles of me of course they will all go broody at the same time...

With that said, I want to get rid of or trade my 2 Sussix hens and the three reds. All are 7 months old and laying machines. Sussix one for one on any wyandotte. All three reds for a Columbian or penciled. I am mainly only interested in Gold, columbian, and penciled, but might consider others.

I have to be in Fairview, NC absolutely no later than 8:30....so I figure if I leave here by 4:30, i would be there by 7;30 with no stops......include stops for chickens/gas....8ish. Perfect. That would put me around Dandridge area probably 5:30.
