Ok yall....Here is what is for sale at the Newport Show.

All 8 months old, are laying very well, and pretty easy on feed. All of my hens went through a slow easy molt this year and still look pretty good. They do well on Purina pellets and I give a little more scratch in the winter.

(2) SS Hens=10.00 per
(5)GLW's=18.00 per (one with crossed beak is 10.00)
Reds=$6.00 per (not great examples of the breed, but very friendly and lay extremely well)
Although those fat Cochins eat me out of house and home....they are not for sale

The prices are pretty fair I think. I am anxious to start breeding Dels and I need to move the others quick.
let me know if anything sounds good.

I will have a single New Hampshire cockerel for sale at the Newport Show. Best stock in the country but he is runty.....he may fill out later, or he may not. He is about 4-5 months old.

I will also probably have some mottled cochins for sale. Either a pair or trio, or individual hens. Girls are molting and looking horrible, but you get the general idea. Only have 1 black mottled rooster that will go, so can sell as a pair or trio. Havent decided how many girls will go yet.

I hope to make it to the show. Hubby stayed home all week to help deal with bear problem. We have lost have the flock. So far no hits in two days so I am hoping it has moved on or someone else got him. We have a camera up but now he is not showing. Must be camera shy. LOL I will tell neibor about show as he wants to get more ees.

Directions just in case for everyone (umm, I mean the woman) LOL

From Knoxville - 40 east to exit 432B (be careful this exit is on the left from the fast lane and easy to miss) , no turns from exit, follow down about 1.7 miles and the grounds are on your right.

From J.C, Gray, Bristol, Blount, etc.. - 81 South to exit 1a and 40 East. Follow Knox instructions above.

From NC - 40 west over mountain to exit 432B, follow exit down and go about 1.7 miles to grounds on Right

From Greenville...... 321 until it dead ends in Newport at "Broadway" and take a right. The fairgrounds is about 2 miles up on the left.
