Hey! Okay, wait! These are syringes with NEEDLES?! I have to give them shots?!?!

Why was I thinking the syringes were for dosing? I really thought you just fed them their medicine, like you do with babies and little kids.

Oooh, I'm pretty sure this is going to end badly...

Oh! Oh! I have a cat you can have. She brings me a mouse about every other day! She's up to date on her shots and is spayed. She just showed up here this past summer, sick and pregnant. Unfortunately, she's figured out that my dog is half blind and likes to sneak up and smack him around.

I thought that cat was mean to chickens? I need a barn cat or twenty. OMG mice everywhere. I have noticed quite a few have a white stripe on their forehead. Yes, I have so many that I SEE quite a few running around while I"m out there. They're taking over. GROSS.

Oh, point to the white snippet? They're all related! I have so many they are splitting into two lines. solid brown and brown with a snippet

I'm pretty sure valbazen is oral not that they like that any better tnbarnqeen now I am new to worming.
Tnchchkn is it used to being outside I would hate for a kitty to scare. My Gizzy my 5lb pom that is so very spoiled even with 4 bigger brother & sisters. Don't think I could hang with a litterbox again cause the dogs take themselves out doggie door.

That's what I thought too......but Bairo should know. I don't think I ever heard how to do it, but just figured it'd be oral.

Shots are easy peasy if that IS what you need. .

BTW, Valbazen IS available in injectable as well. So I don't think this is the end of the world if this was the oral version, used injected in.

Not great, but not the end of the world.

Bairo, what dose did you have and mix. Like how strong was the stuff you are giving out? What mg per ml does it end up being?

I'm glad you mentioned that. I was so excited the possibility of finding her a new home that I completely forgot. She's less interested in them now, thankfully. She hasn't tried to ambush them in a while. Of course, I'm always out with them when they free range and didn't hesitate to squirt her with a water hose or charge her with murderous intent when she tried. I'm not sure how she'd do if I weren't around. And I still keep one eye on her when I go in and out of my bantam coop. I don't think she's a mean cat, she lets my kids wallow her around. I think she's just still kitten-ish.

Yes, she's always been an outside cat. My daughter's allergic, so inside was never an option. PLUS the fact she is such a troll to my dog. Now that it's cold she's been sleeping in a kennel I covered with a couple of old blankets. Classy, right?
