An easy way to ease into "cooking" your chickens is to boil them in water in a crockpot, then take the bones out and make chicken noodle soup or chicken n dumplins...

Hey all, hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! I've got some good quality roosters for sale(cheap), I've got way to many and I am tired of feeding them. I've got about 7 Crele Polish roosters about 7 months old, 7 Buckeye roosters about 5 or 6 months old, and probably 10 Lavender Orpington roos , ranging in age from 3 months to 8 months old. These are all nice healthy birds.

We had a good Christmas. I hope everyone else did. So did anyone get any new chicken stuff.

I didn't. Well I guess the cookie Tin water heater we made last weekend. Can be considered a new christmas item. I did go to tractor supply with my sis yesterday. Got that ivermectin pour on. So now I can worm my chickens. I knew it would be raining all day here so. I had to put it off until tomorrow. (anyone want to help me worm 15 chickens

) It was so hard for me to get up and go to work today. I had a 4 day weekend and slept in every day. That was a mistake.

Alright party people, I have bunnies and guinea pigs

Black buck, pet quality, approx 10-12 weeks old

Black buck, pet/breeder quality (if pedigree wanted for breeder quality, pricing will change. Sold as pets with no pedigrees)

Smoke pearl buck, pet quality because of mismark

1 hairless guinea pig boar/boy (*sale pending but not confirmed)

His brother is already sold

should have half skinny pigs for sale in approximately 3-4 weeks. Mom is regular furry guinea pig but bred to hairless male. She is ready to pop and could go any day now. Poor alice....babies will look normal, but if bred to hairless boar, half of the babies will be regular furry and half hairless

Also, I found some barn cats. Sort of! Getting two of the black younguns in this picture, a male and a female.

so many cats.. my face is tickly and itchy just seeing the cat hoard. lol i got one cat, she chases the rest of them off, and she seemingly has exterminated the rodent population down to were there is not even evidence of rats anywhere anymore around the dumpster buildings or woods near here.. she gets one cup in the house in the morning, sleeps, then goes and hunts all night (also good so dont attack birds). the bunnies must be brought to me to borough for hours of snuggles!

That picture gave me the heeby-jeebies. Cats seem to know that they aren't my favorite animals, so they INSIST on twining themselves around my legs and rubbing their heads on me.

If I were on that deck I'd be under a mound of felines.

I took turnip greens out to the birds yesterday and most of them were like, "meh", and got around to eating it eventually. The Ameraucanas went CRAZY for it. They were jumping up and nabbing it out of my hands. The poor things have been in quarantine for 25 days and were desperate for greens. I am about to forget it and let them into their permanent pen in the big coop.

Well bairo, I asked a guy on an ARBA forum on FB about his Champagne d'Argents... he'll be at the Lafayette, IN show this weekend (I have no plans of going to any shows til March)... he'll have non-show quality trio for $120.

ETA: Bairo! Someone on FB just messaged me and saw that I was looking for Champagnes and said she knows someone who lives in Cookeville who goes up to Ohio all the time and could bring back a trio of Champagnes for 20 each!!! Let me know so I can tell her you're interested!
