Whats this about the kingsport animal sale? Sounds interesting but ive never been. Is there usually alot of stuff there?

@xchickiex
Yeah, I used to take my rabbits there to sell, they have all kinds of chickens, quail, ducks peafowl and also bigger animals, I have seen goats, dogs and even ponies. You just show up, pick a spot you like to set up and Jane comes around and collects the fee. It's in the parking lot at the Kingsport TSC. She usually posts the dates on craigslist and at coppercreekranch.org

I also have a wonderfully nice rooster to find a home. He is a Blue Splash Barred Rock Turken (out of Dipsys eggs) and he's ready to seduce some ladies (about 5 months). He should carry the green EE gene too. Very pretty, he looks glittery silver. His head and neck are BRIGHT red, but he does like to vocalize. I like him very much, but he's got some feathering on his feet so I really can't use him in my breeding. I actually have quite a few roosters I'll need to get homes, though everyone is getting along right now, There are just too many.

I am SO down for whatever date you guys choose, I'll manage to ask off lol!

I'm finally working on JG's right now, I'm hoping to have a good hatch with these shipped eggs. I did throw some AC's in there of my own just in case, I know they should hatch :D *I'm so naughty*

I would love to have this rooster. How much are you asking? Of course I have to double check with DH to make sure. We are going to TSC swap this month looking for some show girl eggs.

Will anybody on here have any naked necks or showgirls at the TSC swap? I am only looking for few, or some hatching eggs would be fine also.

Not sure, you won't know what's going to be there until they show up. This one should have quite a few people there since it is a bit warmer now. No one really reserves a spot, they just show up.

Had a great trip! Was a great show! My Jr broken doe got Best of Variety in 2 shows and my solid Jr buck got Best of Breed for the last show! I got lots of bunnies! Hehe, left with 2 and came back with 5 and may get a 6th one, and bought some stuff. I got 2 mini rex, they're so cute and of great quality (the doe got 2nd and 3rd places as a junior, not sure about the other shows though) and I was given an unshowable baby creme d'argent buck (mom ripped its ear off in birth). I also got another baby mini lop doe.

Bairo, let me know when you're ready to get into meat rabbits.

I've been getting "connections"!

@laughingdog
There's an animal swap usually on every 1st Sattuday of the month, but this time it was moved to the 10th. It starts at 9am until usually 2pm and it's $9 to set up. Any kind of small livestock, pet or plant can be offered. It's in front of TSC and Jane Hall from Copper Creek Ranch runs it, she also works at this TSC. There is also the indoor flea market on the other side of Kingsport, but I have only been there once.

thanks!

now i feel worse i dont live in kingsport.. i stayed there with an ex for months through holidays, and loved it there, and would maybe move there, if could get out to scout around and see what its like lately.
