I wonder if you could look into the cost of shipping it freight? It might be expensive, but after gas and trailer rental it might be cheaper doing it that route. Good luck!!!

I agree....I use to be a dispatcher for a trucking company and with that large a tractor and especially the weight...it will take at least 4 axles. Some states have requirements on weight = # of axles required. There are independent drivers who would ship it but with the cost of diesel it will not be cheap.

So I just answered a post on someone wanting 16 hens and had a 5 x 7 coop. Since I am in rare form today, and since I am getting tired of answering that question

(not for us, but other forums) I have added another page to "my coop" the in your face answers, LOL

Next time someone ask for advice on space, send them to my coop page for the link to that page. Or here it is direct https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/chickens-and-space-the-in-your-face-answers

Hope I dont make toooo many enemies over this one, LOL
I hope they are wanting OEG or Modern Game. With that size even they would be pressed for space.
@Rob I know what you mean about the drawing., I was a bit put our cause I just KNOW I was going to win one of the TSC gift cards.

So...I went to the one in Jeff city and bought the darn turner anyway!! Tracy and I must have just missed you and Kim. I was so glad to see Kim again...she is such a sweetie!
The show was OK...you could tell they where not as organized as they would have liked to have been. (Hoping when I FINALLY get to sponsor Chick-a-Paloosa I am.

) I think it will be a better show next year.

I am so looking forward to the Newport show!! Hopefully my new hatchlings will be ready...they are due 5 days before the show..the other I think the day before.I am praying for a warmer start to the morning then. We are getting ready for Blackberry winter just about then. I noticed mine are budding out their blooms.

I don't know if anyone else saw Ruth from the Newport show there. I can't remember the name of the other lady who helps her. She said they are looking to have a very good show next month. I just hope they have judges who move just a bit quicker this time. Daph and I thought we where going to have to take naps. We did the Ninja "sneak in and grab" our chickens and headed to our homes. But we had a good time. Hope everyone here on our little forum can make it. One of my best friends who was with me Sat. is going to show for the first time. She is nervous but she will do fine.

@Nella....how did I miss you???

OK...who is showing at the Newport show? Bario,,,,I KNOW you are..... right???

Yep... Im only entering the three Del girls though. Im not as ready as I thought I would be and I sold the one GLW that would have shown well. I'll probably enter at least the wheaton ameraucana in the fall and try to hatch a bunch as well.
Your friend you brought to Knoxville....you said she bred Ameraucana's ?? Which colors is she working on? Or does she have anything available yet?

Crap...I better hurry and get signed up. I wish I would have seen Ruth at Knoxville.

Not going to be at Newport. LH Nationals is 5/5, so i will be there instead.

I had a nice time in Knoxville. Always nice to be at the close shows......I still have a mottled cochin cockerel for sale, along with the New Hamp trio (which I did not bring) and some cages. Sold all my waterers and incubator, along with 1 cage.

I will be at the Newport, TN "Something to Crow About Poultry Show"! My dear friend, Mr. Jim Bell from New Tazewell, TN will be showing his famous line of White Faced Black Spanish. NOW THERE ARE FOUR! LOL! I suggest that all BYC members wear a purple hat with a white feather sticking out of it so that we may recognize one another to say hello!

I will do it if everyone else will?

I will be handing out flyers for Heritage Poultry Breeders Association of America. Come up and say hello! I will also wear my purple hat with a white feather if everyone else is going to! He Hee Look forward to possibly meeting some of you.

OH! BTW! All of you will hopefully get to meet our new area District Four Director for the American Poultry Association. His name is Mr. Care R. Brantley. I am SOOOO glad to have a new rep for our area. I look forward to new and better changes by the A.P.A.

@Bairo - I am having fertility issues with my SLW. I was planning on having some at the Newport Show but they just aren't cooperating. I only have one male hatched so far.

I've got wheaten ameraucanas. I've got a splash boy in with two wheaten and one blue wheaten girls, so I'm hatching mostly blue and splash wheaten. Were you needing to add some?
