Ok, so this is what I was thinking. June 23rd at 12 (noon) in the Norris Dam State Park, we will try to grab one of the pavilions, if not maybe TNbarnqueen or someone with a pop-up shelter could bring one and we'll make a picnic at a table. TNchicken, I was hoping you'd be able to get there a little earlier to scope out a spot and maybe set up signs or something pointing everyone to our get-together spot. This will help save us from spending $30 in case it rains and a lot of people decide they don't want to go. Will also save me a headache of sending in paperwork. How does that sound? Opinions? Anyone I mention against anything I tried to volunteer you for?

stang.... I looked at their web site and see that pavilion # 1 is a first come / first serve no charge.

Kim and I were talking about doing a one night camping trip, I'll talk to her and see if our schedule allows us to do that on that Saturday and if so we should be able to get to the pavilion early. I'll have to let you know though. If not I am hoping who ever is closest there can grab something like you were talking about.

Sounds good to me. I have one of those pop up shelters, too. It's not as nice as Barnqueen's but it keeps the rain off. I don't care to get there early and start setting up.
Grawg's here, too, Stang, if you're assigning duties. You're welcome, grawg.

Hello all.... boy, have I been away!

Hope everyone is doing well. I am trying to get myself to check in on BYC more often. I just get so busy (and so tired) that I usually fall asleep checking my emails and never get that far!

Anywho... I got chicks everywhere... too soon to speak for sure right now, but I recently hatched Swedish Flower Hens and Sulmtalers out... depending on how they sex out, there may be pairs for sale later. So there is your "heads up". Like I said, too early to even guess just yet... but I'm SUPER excited!

Anyone interested in some pet bantams? Strickly pets/broodies... two roos and 5 or 6 hens. All will go broody at the sight of 5 eggs in a pile!!! LOL!

If I don't reply quickly to you through BYC... email me at [email protected] - I probrably just didn't get on to receive your message. But I'm gonna try to keep up!!! ;)

My goodness Stacy....we thought you fell off the edge of earth and didn't know where to throw a rope! Good to hear from you again.
@Nella....I am so glad you are going to get to attend...I am beginning to wonder if you are a figment of my imagination.

@Bario....Gizmo's fur is still standing on end. She has been hilarious...I keep making sounds to make her jump. I had better quite or she is going to become neurotic and she is my baby doll.

I don't mind getting there early and setting up. I've also got a first up tent in case the shelter is taken. and just so we are clear, you are talking about the pavilion next to the playground and in front of the group camps right?

Yup, I'm here... I got tied up in 60 hour work weeks PLUS chicken, fish, and all other critter chores. I literally would go to check my emails and accounts all over and fall asleep with the laptop on my chest.

I laid out today because I have to make some important calls and go run another errand I never have time for... I don't know how day-shifters do it. I know I rather be on nights anyday.

Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Sounds like we've got a plan!

Anyone looking for Cochin cockerels? I have some Frizzled and some standard, they're all suppose to be blue and will be large. They're 4.5 weeks old.
