Okay here's the only 2 EEs I kept. I am really hoping one is a pullet but it is probably wishful thinking. I am posting pics to see who bursts my bubble first.

Sorry not the best pictures but it was getting late. They are 13 weeks old. Its hard to tell in the pics but one's comb is red & the others is not. I checked the hen I think they came from & she does not have very round saddle feathers. I am almost positive the one on the right in firs pic is a roo but I don't know about the other one. Thanks

Lets call the one on the left A & one on right B:

Below is A

This is B

In this pic you can see the difference in their tail feathers. Chick A is on top
and Chick B's back & tail.

Here is my last post tonight. I was going to put everything in one post but thought it would be information overload. And I promise I am not trying to bump up the number of posts to win

I went in the TS in Morristown the other day & they were handing out papers about an Animal Swap Meet. It is scheduled for Saturday, September 15th from 9am-5pm. It simply states Buy Sell & Trade livestock. Didn't know if anyone else was aware of it so I just thought I would mention it.

TeeHee! You are my kinda animal lover!

How are the Brahma's doing? Do they have names yet?
Haven't named them yet. But they are going to be the death of me. Last night in the middle of the storm (and it stormed so loud here that the house shook) I was crawled all the way up in the run of the chicken tractor trying to catch them to put them back in the coop. Brain damaged chics didn't realize they needed to go home. I felt like a fool. And before you ask, no our tractor is NOT big enough for someone to crawl into it. Have no idea how I did it. Today, when Tommy woke up, I decided we were going to play with them and handle them some. We got the boy out, and I was going for the girl. She took off past me, and Tommy and I played tag for over an hour. She dove under our porch. And then spent the rest of the time hollering for her boyfriend. Hilarious. I thought Tommy was going to kill us all. *pause to take a deep breath. So no, we haven't named them yet. But they sure are cute.

Where is the ts in Morristown? Was the swap meet there?

Okay I lied here's another post. The TS is before you get to K-Mart or Lowe's if you are coming from Jefferson City. I take it to be at the store because that's the only address listed. I do not have their number but I guess you could call and verify. It is on the left. Sorry do not have any more information.

bairo, as i was taking pictures of the chicks, I realized that one of the EE's is a roo!!! He has tiny teeny tiny red feathers coming out on his wing feathers. Sooo that means I probably have 2 roos for sure. Anyway, I am gonna post a few pics of each of the chicks. Tell me what you think if you know. Thanks!

Here is the first EE. I sure am hoping this one is a pullet.

This is the other EE that I figure is a roo since he has red coming out on his wings.

Sorry! LOL, I hope I never meet your hubby, he might shoot me LOL.

So are you for sure you have a pair? I was thinking that but wasn't sure. I've not been into chickens long enough to really know what I am doing. :)

OK bairo, here are the Aussies if you can help me please. Again, I know they are young.

This is the one I think is a roo because it's comb is bigger than the other two. He got wet running from me LOL, ran right through the water dish.

Here are pics of the other two.

And one more of the 3 Aussie's together!

I bet you are happy with the corrugated vinyl roofing.....I always said if I built another one, that is what I would do as well. Of course if I built another one it would have to be bigger than my current one (of course) and probably run me 3000. LOL. This dang chicken thing is addictive. I think It cost me about 3 dollars per dozen eggs just with what I do now which aint too much special.
I keep telling tnbarnqueen I will build her one labor free if she lets me do what I want (just to satisfy the urge to build another one)......but alas she knows me too well and knows I can spend 10 grand on the materials alone for the super duper predator proof chicken palace elite

.

Thermostatically controlled heat bulbs, temp sensitive auto vents, sensor lights and water sprayers on the outside, light sensor controlled steel shutters that close at night, feed dispensers, door locks with thumb print security,.....if someone would just hit the lottery and let me build them one; my life's mission would be complete

You don't know how quick I could take you up on that. DH has been on 7-12s for 2 months now and no end in sight so I am getting nothing done. I am still fighting the weasel. I have 4 types of traps out and he has not sniffed a one. 3 traps are the ones that snap up shut on their head. Don't get me wrong...I love all animals but this devil has cost me well over $300. The SG sllkies where the last straw. I finally had to put the hen down yesterday. I DO NOT want to have to do that again. I can the chicks but not the big guys.
Bario...I would almost consider trading my OE roo for one of yours since he is going for a food source.
I am trying to be patient with these D'Uccles til the Newport show but.....I am at the point that if anyone wants some...$3 ea, gets them...I will even do a killer price on trios and quads. I do have one little mille fluer that needs a home. She has always been shy and the others are mean to her. So...will someone please give her a good home. She would be perfect for children. She reminds me of a dainty little lady..no jumping in the middle of the food pan or snatching all the snacks. Let me know!!

*Bario...if they call for rain I will need your expertise in tent raising.
