You will fit in great with my hubby & the holster thing! And going by the parks is not any trouble for me. I will be going really close to one on Friday & the other one is just a few miles away. The Loves Creek one has shade...at least I am almost positive. I hate to keep harping on the Loves Creek one and it turn out to be a flop but I truly think its the better of the two. I will go get pics, check to see if its possible to schedule & everyone can decide. BTW $20 for a good quality POL is not a bad price IMO (I have paid more for far less in the past).
I have paid more than $20 for a single hatching egg!!! So, no... $20 isn't bad for a POL girl.

Speaking of hatching eggs... I'm re-thinking this "spend time chatting online about chickens" thing... You people are enablers!! I'm trying to figure out what eggs he's ordered and that leads to me looking at birds and eggs for sale... yup, I must be strong!!!

Me too! I have 42 seramas eggs coming from 3 different breeders. 42 is how many the incubator holds.
I'd be in trouble if I filled up all my incubators!! I have enough space for 90 eggs! YIKES!! LOOK AWAY, LOOK AWAY!!

ETA: Oh wait, that's only if they all hatch...

Start by letting them out 1-2 hours before sunset. Leave the gate open and they will put themselves to bed. They know where they live....dont go out and help them unless you get a straggler that is retarded and really does get lost. You laugh...but I have actually had one or two tards. Pretty much though, they know where they live and where the safety is.

Well, my problem is they get around the rabbit barn, and I used to have more chicken runs there and took only half of them down, so there is a section behind some chicken netting where they see the others and forget they have to go all the way back around to get back to their coop/run... It's just a bad configuration on my part... if I could just decide whether I want to put more fencing back up and put a coop or let them into the rabbit barn to roost is my only issue. So, they run into the netting like retards thinking they're going to get through and then they're by themselves (it's the 2 australorps from Tennesseeckn) and I had to follow them not really chase to get them to go back to the others... they know where the coop is... they just have trouble with getting lost in my overgrown lots...

You guys are lucky... I only have a capacity for 48 comfortably. 48 is not a lot of chicks is it

.
Rodney, you can always borrow one of mine, since I know I'll get it back. You can also then share some chicks if they're a breed I wouldn't mind adding...
