I really don't want to order eggs, with shipping they just become over priced in my opinion... I can't find anyone around here that have any breeds I want to get eggs from...

Except Tennesseeckn...

And Rodney... why did you post those pics of chick zipping and then in the brooder. I know that was a Del of some sort and now I'm starting to twitch and scratch like a crack addict coming down off a high and needing a fix. THANKS!

You people are bad. lol.... just kidding... but seriously. Bad.

Diane, the two month old rooster that you gave me started trying to crow this morning. My husband yelled at me at 7:00 a.m. to come outside. My rooster would crow, and then he would give a ba aaa aaaa aaaahhh *cough snort ahhhhh.

It was hilarious. If I had known he was doing it, I would have tried to tape it for you. He's going to be a big boy. He's almost as big as my 4 month old wyandottes. I'll try to catch him crowing in the morning.

After seeing the chicks & everyone talking about hatching eggs I am glad I do not have an incubator and my two one time broody hens are not broody. I am safe!

I swore after the last chicks I raised I would not do it again unless I had a broody hen but then Tennesseeckn was so kind as to offer some of her Orps & I could not resist! So I am saying it again: I will not raise anymore baby chicks...period. If the hens do not go broody then I am sol. Will you help me stick to this?
