I really don't want to order eggs, with shipping they just become over priced in my opinion... I can't find anyone around here that have any breeds I want to get eggs from...

Except Tennesseeckn...

I really wanted some Orpingtons after looking at so many.

Ya know... Contrast has Orpingtons from me and another breeder who has the imported variety. Mwahahaha!

  • 1- Cuckoo Marans 28 weeks old, laying for 5 weeks. $20.00
  • 1- French Black Copper Marans 28 weeks old, laying for 2 weeks $20.00

These below are 8 weeks old and $6.00
  • 2-Welsummer over Delaware
  • 1- Pure bred Welsummer. (looks to be pure, her leg band came off) Process of elimination tells me if she does not have puffy cheeks or black in her, then she must be pure Wellie.
  • 3 other Welsummer cross blue egg EE"s (should be olive eggers) I'll have to go through these again better to try and spot any little boys. EE's and olive crosses can be difficult to tell. But if I think it is a boy he is free and if he turns out to be a she; great....if not and you cant keep him you can return him or put him in the freezer (Daphnie will be glad to come over and show you how it is done, LMAO)

Psht. Not only did I disgrace myself at Wisner Farms by crying and running away when they were processing my extra cockerels, I STILL haven't had the heart to cook them. They're still in my freezer after almost a YEAR!

If you were at Wisner Farms in Dandridge then you were very close to where I live. You came a very long way to disgrace yourself and I would have done the same.

LOL!!! Sorry Daphne, but that is funny. I think it's more upsetting to have someone else do it... that is where you went wrong. Have someone show you how to do it on a bird you don't know, great... have someone show you on the bird you brought... bad idea.
