I love Orps. Tommy and I saw some that caught our attention. I contacted Terry Disney (had his card), but he wants to sell me chics now. I understand that since he shows them. They are the prettiest plumpest little things. I love their fluffy little tails.

I love their look too. You may find some at the show in Knoxville next week. If mine do well I will put my roo in with them in the Spring & if you want eggs I will be happy to share some with you. But we may need to ask on here to see how old they have to be before breeding (they will not quite be a year old in the Spring & fertility will not be tested).

A is a hen
B still has me guessing.

All people should learn to sex on EE's. Then when you see a purebred you can spot a pullet or cockerel from 500 feet away

Yes B is a pain in the butt or a challenge depending on how you view it. I think I want more of this combo but I do not want to have to keep them until crow or lay an egg to figure out the sex!

I'm also basing my vote on him being a boy based on his "posture" (for lack of a better term). Now you say he is a butt head.... leaning even more towards boy.

LOL, he/she has had me guessing for a looong time. I should find out by Spring

But he/she does not have any saddle feathers & I always go by those (maybe my mistake).

Quote: Just got off the phone with him.....I love him already, LOL. He has a birthday coming up I guess, he said he will be 82. He certainly can talk...but I like him.
I told him to take Mr. Kellogs also since he has a friend close by that is in love with Wellies and really needs another rooster. I'm glad he does not have anyone elses # though since I told him what I was going to mess with next LOL

That is too cool. Mine would be among. Too funny.

I wanted to thank him for helping me so much. Plymouth was pecking today. His eyes look tired, but he ate. Whoo-hoo. He's really getting into the shots. I do everyone else at the same time, but his is the night by himself. So I've been bringing him inside and babying him. He's gotten now to where he looks in Tommy's pocket in his shirt for Ritz crackers. Tommy said if anyone he worked with knew what we did, he would d-i-e! lol

Bairo, I was thinking: I have gotten into making signs since I saw one on BYC. I am getting better with each one. I wouldn't have it done in time for our get together, but would you like one? As payment for being my go-to-person. (need something for Terry too)
Very nice! I am an artist and I can tell you that you are talented. A lot of attention to detail. I work in oils and clay. Wish we where close enough to sling some paint!
Yes Bario,.,,,,working on the quilt paintings..hope to finish one tomorrow. I have that virus going around that is like a sinus infection...so...feeling like real crap. I hate it when I can't do things that need to be done when it is so nice outside.

Yes...that is Mr. Ellis. He wants to take me over to his friends to see his chickens. You should see his coop areas. He took a machine shed and separated it into, I think, 3 or 4 areas. His chickens are very healthy and clean. If you ever get the chance to visit him you will enjoy it. He is lovable...always talks me out of my favorite chickens! His son bought my colt last night. He has shown and ridden TN Walkers since a child so I am glad he is going to have a very good home. He even invited me to come ride when I feel I can and want to.
Well..nite all...I really feel like poop.

Gonna try to sleep this off for the night. Gotta kick this before the sale at TSC this Sat.
