I am guessing since I didn't receive my eggs today, I will receive them tomorrow. So, if anything hatches, it'll be right before Thanksgiving!

That is sad, but great at the same time.
I am setting @ 7:00 pm on the 1st.

Still not sure of the count yet.
This weather has thrown a wrench, nah make that the whole tool box into the egg production.

So looks like I will be getting nuggets for Thanksgiving Day.

LOL, I'd prefer to be setting them tomorrow too, but that's not going to work.. they need to sit up for 24 hours and then I can incubate them, and unfortunately not going to be home tomorrow, school all day..

@AJ...I have the same problem....but am actually up to 3 eggs..maybe ...a day. Only 2 that I can incubate. I did find some eggs that I have been wanting for a very long time...a long time. Columbian silkies. I am so excited. Looks like you , Stang, Lunar and I will be hatching at the same time. I have 2 orders that should be here Thur or Fri so will be setting on Sat. Bario had to go and show me a new breed he found...and of course I could not resist...well...that is what I told DH and I am sticking to it.

I cannot complain much about what DH keeps..it is just that he keeps it ALL over the place. He will tell me to go get a tool at the barn section that is his...yeah...like I am going to find it?? My biggest problem with him is clothes. He gets a couple favorite shorts and after 8 years will not give them up...I HATE THEM!!!!!! They are nylon and horrible..the elastic is stretching, they are stained ... for some bizarre reason one pair disappeared.

I see the other pair doing the same in the near future. That is how I get rid of things. But I will have to say I have a LOT of art stuff. I keep thinking I am actually going to get the time to use it. Maybe.
@littlechicklet...there was a show on TV I watched where they where taking bags from Purina dog food and making usable things for pets out of it. They made raincoats, collars, round tubes for obstical courses...things like that. There was someone here on BYC who made pocketbooks out of one. I have one out of a chicken feed bag. I will try to get a pic of it tomorrow. It is neat. The purina company was impressed with the products that where made and wanted to put some into production from bags that people return. Sown together they would make great tarps. I use mine for a lot of things too. You could probably cut out a pattern of my bag and make different sizes littlechicklet. Or even make hobo bags out of them. I use to have a pattern for that somewhere.

These are a pain to put together (it will take two people that know the basics, 6 hours) But this is by far the best deal going to start a nice coop that will accomodate 20 chickens comfortably with enough room for inside laying boxes, poop board, etc.

I could build it "better" but not cheaper.

Pick up a couple small windows at habitat for humanity or something and a couple roof vents and your all ready to customize the interior
I used that as a goat house when I first got a couple goats... They tore it down. LMAO!! Like I said, it was my first experience. I had it on a "deck" foundation of reclaimed wood, so we just rebuilt it with wood.

I'll tell you now, if you are like me and hate working with metal... pay to have it installed. It was not fun at all. But I'm sure there are men who would like it.... we didn't enjoy it. ;) lol

Still, if I need a fast cheap coop, it would be on my list of possibilities. But I'd pay someone else to put it up.

Thought I would post a pic of a Blue Plymouth Rock Next to a Barred (or a splash). I think I got 2 blues out of the hatch

You better stop. I have a soft spot for Barred Rock chicks. I have no clue why, but I'm crazy about them. Is two realistic of what you were hoping to get? Or are you let down a bit?

I didn't answers, but I got a email back from Sweden. She said she is going to find me some help and get back to me. YAY!!! I love the internet.
