Eastern Washington

The hatchery messed up and gave me all boy Cuckoo Marans instead of all girls, I have 3 that I don't need and need to sell or butcher but I would rather sell them, does anyone need a Cuckoo Maran Rooster? They were given the Marek's and Coccidiosis Vaccination before the hatchery shipped them and have been on non-medicated organic chick feed so far and have been kept in a very nice caged area. They were all caught crowing this morning so I know they are for sure boys. I did get a copy of the Pullorum Certificate from McMurray hatchery to show what I ordered if you want a copy. Here are some pictures of the three I am getting rid of, I am keeping the one that seems most dominant since I don't want to mess up my pecking order too much. By the way they are all 13 weeks old right now. I am selling them for $15 each or $40 for all three, basically enough to cover their cost to me so far since organic feed isn't the cheapest thing. These pictures were taken a week ago. Please PM me if interested, I am in Finley WA.

Anyone interested in some bantam cockerels? I need to find homes for them soon! They are free to a good home! :) They are two black crossbreeds of some sort that were supposed to be bantam Japanese from McMurray hatchery, but I think they look closer to black Leghorn bantams. Another female that my friends have was actually judged as a Sumatra at the county fair last week! XD

I currently live in Western Wa, but grew up in the Tri-Cities! I go back and visit now and then.
I currently have 4 hens and one baby roo. Working on building a bigger run to go with a bigger coop (chicken math at it's finest) so I can order some English Orpingtons.

Orpingtons. Just love them. And they come in so many colors. There is a breeder in Deer Park. If I didn't already have too many, I would get some for sure.

I'm so excited!!! I just got an opportunity to get a breeding trio of Cream Legbars to use as a 4-H project!!!!! :D I'll be sure to post pictures when I get them! :)
Great!

Hey neighbors..... I've got a Sagitta Rooster that needs about 15 hens to take care of... I've got 7 hens and that's not enough for him...

I was thinking of increasing the number of hens to 12.... Even spoke with Bro at Just Fowling Around... That's where I got my chickens...

I've decided next spring will be a better time to increase the flock...

He's really gentle with the hens... feeds and protects them until it's time to mount them... He doesn't pull out feathers.... He monitors the hens knowing who hasn't been serviced that day.... One great stud....

The problem I'm having is the hens are so busy trying to hide from his needs that they aren't laying... He really does need at least 15 hens so they can relax "part time".....

I don't want to eat him.... He's a beautiful specimen and will serve your flock well....

He was born this early spring... I'm thinking $10 to help cover what I've got invested....

Sagitta's are large fowl... he weighs about 7#'s now....

Hi everyone! I'm moving to the tri-cities area later this month and the house we're renting has a chicken coop.

I'm super excited to get a trio of hens installed as soon as I can. Does anyone have recommendations of where I can find a trio of healthy layers? I'm partial to wyandottes, but open to other options.
