All the babies have been born :)

Your babies are so sweet! We lost power for 5 days due to the wind storm, I've managed to save 3 eggs and one has hatched!

Hi Washington peeps! I'm just up past Spokanes' SouthHill in ;) i have been searching through the threads trying to find ppl closer to me who might be selling/trading hens. I really need a broody Buff Orp!

Awesome! I don't have a broody but I have an incubator and I am offering incubation services and I have fertile mixed eggs (littleredwagon's chicks are from my eggs). What kind of chickens do you have?

I have Ameracaunas, EE's, SL Wyandotte, CCL, Olive Egger, BCM white leghorn and Black Australorp. 3 are roosters.

Sorry I forget how to use this site. I have an incubator that's really nice if you to do! I was just getting ready to install a fan when one of my eggs pipped on Saturday. I lost a lot of unhatched chicks due to no power from the storm. I don't want to go through that again. I'm also looking for fertile eggs I can hatch that are different breeds from what I already have. I would love a golden laced Wyandotte but I just don't want to order birds through the mail, especially when it's this cold old.

I just had quite the brooder box made and it stays in my heated shop where everyone will stay dry and warm.

I know what you mean. I won some of TJCHICKENS eggs and I asked if I could wait until Spring for them. My mixed chicks are doing great, I was really lucky they hatched a week before the storm. They are so cute. I have 18 growing out at my Father-in-Law's house. Trying to sell them has been a little tough, but about half of the pullets should be olive eggers.

Funny story....my friend and I bought OE chicks that were a few days old. Out of the 6 total, I have two and I'm positive one is a roo the other I still don't know. These have been the hardest chickens for me to sex. Our chicks are BCM hen X CCL Roo. They have pretty colors but my pullet is now starting to look like the roo. He has had a huge comb and waddles since a young age. Her comb is getting a lot bigger and red. His saddle feathers are obviously male, she doesn't have any yet. They are 3 months

My roo is a Cream Legbar mixed with a mystery brown layer. I got 4 chicks from people in Athol. Ended up with 2 boys and 2 girls. I knew my boy easy a boy at about 6 weeks. Got any pics?

We lost power about that long, but luckily I did have a broody. We brought everybody inside during the storm, though, since we couldn't run their heater in the coop. The babies are all officially 2 weeks old now :)

@Saris they are still all happy and healthy. They have somehow learned to climb out of the nesting box and fly down to the lower level, which gives them a lot more room to play.
